Visualizing coastal flooding Java, Indonesia
The sinking of the coastal area in Demak needs to be urgently investigated as observations showed they are as high as 8 cm per year. Groundwater abstraction is a global cause of soil subsidence in many areas of the world. We visualized the different scenarios for the Demak coast by using Sketchup and Lumion 3D. Commissioned by Wetlands International.
