Deltares: Adaptive cities through innovative design
Today, 54% of the world’s population lives in urban areas (UN), a proportion that is expected to increase to 66% by 2050. These cities are not only challenged by expanding population, but also climate change, soil subsidence and disruptive development. At AquaConsoil in Copenhagen, Deltares presented its solutions for a resilient city. Vizualism designed the leaflet and developed a short animation.
